Grounds and Gardens of Remembrance

Our Grounds and Gardens of Remembrance are open 365 days a year via footpath access. Vehicular access is available from 8am to 5pm. Please note that whilst dogs are permitted in the grounds, they must be kept on a lead and owners must clean up after their dogs.

Services

Our services are 45 minutes long to give you all the time you need to say goodbye. You can also add more time to your service if you would like a longer service. The earliest booking is 9am and the latest is 4pm from Monday to Friday. Ceremonies are also available to book on Saturdays from 9am until 11am by request only.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome at our services.

Our office is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Christmas opening times

Our memorial grounds and the Book of Remembrance room will be open through the Christmas period. Office hours and service times over Christmas and New Year will be as follows:

Tues 24th Dec 24 open from 8.30am – 4pm (last service at 1pm)
Weds 25th Dec 24 CLOSED
Thurs 26th Dec 24 CLOSED
Fri 27th Dec 24 CLOSED
Mon 30th Dec 24 open from 9am – 2pm (last service at 1pm)
Tues 31st Dec 24 office open from 10am – 12noon (no services)
Weds 1st Jan 25 CLOSED
Thurs 2nd Jan 25 normal hours resume from 8.30am – 5pm
